About Us

In 1981 two geologists met and discovered that they both enjoyed nature photography almost as much as they enjoyed analyzing mineral samples. This eventually led to the marriage of K. Fletcher and Donna Baylis and the beginning of Wildside Photography.

Twenty years later Donna and K have created a unique library of more than 32,000 images of nature, wildlife, flora and fauna from countries as far apart as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Israel, Laos, Malaysia, Namibia, the Philippines, South Africa, Tunisia and Vietnam. The collection includes images almost as rare as their subjects. For example, the endangered  Sumatran Rhinoceros or the brief bloom of Rafflesia - the World's largest flower. True to their roots the Wildside collection also has many images of  geology, environments and landscapes.

Let's face it, not everybody has the inclination to wade through leech infested swamps and jungles, follow herds of yak across the Tibetan Plateau,or track vicuna in remote regions of the High Andes. Enjoy our Wildside images.
